Grandma Flew Spitfires John Webster - The Air Transport Auxiliary Association, of which John Webster is the Secretary, commemorates the Air Transport Auxiliary. This was founded at the outbreak of WW2. It was a civilian organization, staffed by men, women and boys, that made a huge contribution to the war effort by taking over from service pilots the task of ferrying warplanes to their destinations. John's talk will feature a newsreel clip and extracts from two of his interviews.

The Aguila Wrens David Slade - The story of the Wrens lost aboard SS Aguila in WW2 and the RNLI lifeboat named in their memory. The lifeboat was built in 1951 and is now being restored.
